Apprentice Program
The Kinsley Organization puts a great deal of emphasis on their employee’s personal/professional development and education, which is clearly illustrated by their devotion to teaching and training our future workforce by way of their in-house apprenticeship programs. The Kinsleys embarked on their first four year accredited carpentry apprenticeship in 2002. Since then they have started a new class of apprentices each year since its inception, and have expanded the program to include a four-year Highway and Bridge Apprenticeship and most recently a three-year Ironworker Apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship programs are facilitated by the various Kinsley divisions and managed by their Education Center. This ensures that each apprentice receives a high level of technical expertise and personal skill development in a highly structured and effective manner.
On November 8, 2010, Kinsley Manufacturing began its first three-year Ironworker Apprenticeship. The three-year curriculum, as listed below, will consist of classroom training for each of the modules as well as hands-on field training. This approach will allow the individuals to learn the technical side of the ironworking industry while being submerged in the actual trade work, creating the maximal learning environment. Upon successful completion of the three-year course, the apprentices will receive their certified journeymen statuses.
